Frank Cindrich
Frank Cindrich, along with teammates Wes Santee, Ralph Moody and Dick Blair, broke the sprint medley relay world record in 1954 in a time of 3:20.2. A Wyandotte, Kansas native, Cindrich also was part of the Distance Medley team which ran an American Indoor record of 9:51.4 at the Michigan State Relays his junior year. Cindrich was also a three time letter winner as halfback for the KU football team.
