Steve McGreevy
Steve McGreevy played for the University of Kansas from 1963-65 and was named an All-American in 1964. McGreevy hit .400 during the 1964 season and led the Big Eight Conference with a .421 average in league games. McGreevy led the Big Eight in hits his junior and senior seasons while his nine doubles in league games in 1965 led all players. A career .366 hitter, McGreevy was chosen in the first Major League Baseball free-agent draft in 1965 after hitting .379 as a senior. McGreevy played four seasons in the minor leagues for the Dodgers organization.
